Really busy these days.

Checklist

Usually, I prefer to pack at the very last minute, ie. an hour before expected time of departure which will usually be postponed due to said the packing.

So tonight, I decided to pack early due to the complexity of the situation - read: too many damn things that I need to bring.

I proceeded to start accumulating all the required stuff in a scientific manner - read: I went around the house grabbing whatever that comes to mind.

New wireless router - Check!

Games and DVDs - Check!

Camera and accessories - Check!

Money and ATM - Check!

............. hold on, I seem to be forgetting something.......

Thumbdrive! - ................ Shit!!!

Running to the back of the house, fishing my pants out of the washing machine and voila! There's my flash drive in the pocket, soaked in detergent.......

Damn. A little divine intervention wouldn't hurt right now. *fingers crossed*

Sandy Beaches and Crystal Clear Waters

Looks at clock - 6.40 AM

Once again, my insomnia strikes again. Luckily, I don't need to be anywhere tmr. Else I'll be in deep shit.

Why the hell can't I sleep?

Could it be the excitement of going back to KL soon? Nope...

The game I was playing earlier? Maybe...

How about the new wireless router + modem I just bought that I can't wait to install? .... Damn, I think that's it. Been thinking about it all night..... OMG, does that officially make me a geek??!!

But I'm tooo good looking to be a geek!!
*in denial*

OK, no more thinking about routers, NAT, port forwarding, MAC addresses or VPN tunneling. Not even firmware upgrades!

Think relaxing thoughts damnit. Imagine golden sandy beaches. Swaying palm trees. Lying under an umbrella on the beach, listening to the waves crashing in... waves crashing in... waves crashing in... modem crashing in... EEEk!!

Damn! I'm counting sheep instead.

I Just Got Off the Phone

with someone who speaks Mandarin just as horrible as I do.

I don't understand why these Ipoh ppl insist on speaking in mangled Mandarin when they're prefectly capable of speaking respectable Canto.

Time Immorial

This week, some of my friends are going back to uni. And soon we'll all be back in uni again, leading separate lives. Just thinking about it makes me sad.

This holiday has been one of the best so far. I had tonnes of fun but most of the time, I just chilled - which is what I need most. I guess after going through some rough time, I really do appreciate some down time.

I like the fact that I can wake up anytime and then make a call to my friends to have lunch together. We'll be there 15 minutes later. I like that my friends and I can call each other anytime and we can immediately hang out together. No hesitation. I like the fact that everyone is always available and willing.

If only everyone can just sit around and hang out forever. That would be the life. Yes, I'm being really silly. We all have those days... ok, maybe only me.

The Torture Toll

I'm sure they're probably a hundred (thousand) ppl ranting about this right now but the stupid LDP is going to get a price hike next year. LDP being one of the busiest highway right now, I'm sure the fee increase won't deter anyone from it due to its strategic location. But it's not gonna to stop ppl from whining over it though.

Even though at this time I won't be taking the highway yet, but come my industrial training I need to take it to go to the adfirm of my choice (fingers crossed!).

Luckily, I'll only need to pass through one toll. Well, if there's anyone out there who wants to give me a lift to work, I highly welcome it, lol.

On another note, it rained lightly today and I forgot to collect clothes outside. Got screwed by mum, sad case....

Fitting Excuse

Had a headache, so crawled into bed at 1030pm. I didn't stop at that though. Picked up Angels & Demons I borrowed from FK, continued Robert Langdon's adventure in Vatican City and the surroundings of Rome. The more I read, the more I see the book as the tome it is. Can't wait to finish the darn book.

For the first time in a long time, I laid in bed, listening to the radio. Once upon a time ago, it was a nightly ritual. It seems like such a long time ago. Back when I still had to attend school, every night I would do my homework or read while listening to Hitz.fm Late Night Show or Mix FM's Dedication. It was through this that I came to know countless songs I grew to love.

Then at bedtime, I would lie in bed, under the covers in the dark, and immerse myself in the tunes coming from the set. Songs I like just a remote away. This was my own brand of lullaby.

And what better excuse to skip an early bed time by dragging myself out of bed to blog my fleeting pillow thoughts...

Infantile Adult Young Adult

I think I'm turning ppl off lately. I think I'm being awfully childish. At least, I'm under that impression. And regrettably and as much as I hate to admit it, it may be true.

When I was younger, I always tried my best to better myself. Now, I just don't bother anymore. I dunno, I guess the whole process is just so tiring.

At 15, I was mature beyond my age. At 21, I'm childish. What the hell happened in between??!!

Pics, Pics, Pics and More Pics!

After taking what seemed like hours, I finally managed to upload all of my recent photos to ImageShack. Their servers were crawling today, had I not been a fervent supporter of their service, I would have abandoned it out of frustrations - read: I'm just plain lazy to register for another service.

Now that I've got everything up, suddenly, I have second thoughts against posting these pictures. Somehow, picture after picture of myself is getting kinda old and admittedly, pointless. So I suppose I will give this some thought (or maybe not) and we'll see what I'll do about it...

These series of pictures were taken during my birthday this yr. It was a small affair with close friends, just the way I wanted it.

Jilly-boo baked the cheesecake and she also organised it. Thanks a lot dear!

Me pretending enjoying the cake with Jill aiming the camera.

Poser Alert!! I like how Ivy and me are leaning into each other in this picture. We were at a get together for old classmates...

which were attended by pretty much everyone but our classmates... I really like my hair in these two photos, it's very difficult to recreate but easy to screw up. Makes me question my decision to crop my hair short soon...

Finally, this was just taken days ago. SH is back to suffer 3 months of idling, also known as industrial training. I took it with his Panasonic Lumix (same range as mine but different model) so I was quite adept with it. Such a perfect shot, all those hours of self-camwhoring made all the different. You should see the one he took in the car, without flash, it was pitch black....

That's all peeps!

Oh yea, I think this should be the last time you guys see my hair at this length. Gonna cut it short soon, reckon it makes me look mature and more assertive.

There's Been Another Death

Why Why Why??!!!

First my tv, now my hard disk!!!

All my torrents gone.......

Luckily I made the decision to transfer all my Season 3 DH out, else I would have lost them too.

But still, all my pictures, documents, music!!!!!!!

I'm cursed!!!

PS. Sorry for rambling. I am obviously very distraught...
