The Best Picture
I'm back for the weekend again. Won't gonna be back again for a long time to come. My exams are the week after next so I have to spend my time studying instead of commuting 2 hours just to get online, hehe.
Today I went to catch "Lucky Number Slevin" which turned out to be a very interesting movie. I was quite skeptical about it previously till I read the review. FYI, the movie was released here before the U.S. thus explains the delay in reviews.
Slevin is not for everyone of course. Like I told Xing (who accompanied me, for reasons I shall explain later) it's an offbeat kinda movie. The highlight of the movie is the script. A lot of creative energy went into it resulting in funny quirky subtle lines delivered flawlessly by the actors.
Evidently I'm horrible describing movies so just watch the damn movie and you'll like it. You'll love the movie if you like Josh Hartnett, if you like Josh Hartnett half naked and if you like suggestive gay humour.
Obviously I fall into the third category, haha. Me and Xing were the only two people who caught the drift cuz no one else was laughing. What a waste, it was a good gay joke, lol.
Technical wise, the camera work is quite tight. Lots of quite cuts. I love the whole styling of the movie. Gives it a very old school feel. Simply amazing.
Anyway I didn't intend to watch a movie today. Instead I was planning on going out to do some photography work and Xing agreed to help. Alas, mother nature wasn't on my side. It was rather cloudy and the lighting wasn't very good. The clouds were hardly inspiring. To cut the long story shot, I couldn't get the shot I wanted so I decided to forget it. I'll be trying again tomorrow. Hopefully everything will go my way.

Maybe the others din get the joke cos they weren't perverted enough..
And it seems that your photog plans don't always pan out, do they? Should just photoshop all your pics and hand them in. Just a thought...
