in the Loop

It was a weekend in the country. Cruising on a boat down the river at midnight, illuminated by the moon. It had never been so bright in my life. The skies, an apt pair with millions of brilliantly lit stars.

An afternoon spent experiencing wakeboarding for the first time, followed by a day of aching all over. I had finally met the friendly and accomodating future-in-laws. Here's hoping they found me as likeable as I did them. Can't help but feel a sense of dread for the big day.

This will all be over in slightly over a week. All good things must come to an end, even the bittersweet ones.

A lot of you have been asking me about where I am in the States and I'm sure even more have wondered but chose not to say anything about it.

I just found a solution to this.

3 Doors Down recently filmed their latest video, "It's Not My Time" right here in Cincinnati. You can get a good feel of the city in 4 minutes and 8 seconds, much more than I can offer you in that short timespan.

The only thing I would add is that the videomakes the city feel bigger than it really is. Much cooler too, lol.

I'm ready to go out and socialise.

These two months of sitting at home have been somewhat liberating and rejuvenating. Not that I haven't had any human contact or met some really amazing and interesting ppl.

But I think I'm finally ready to go exhaust myself socialising and make some real lasting connection with ppl who I will possibly, actually see again.
